1986 'Submarine Ride' underwater park attraction
Built by International Submarine Engineering, Ltd. Cost more than US 3M when installed in 1986. Attraction is out of operation at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada. Submarine bay includes four 16-24 passenger submarines which submerge 2-3 meters and tour around the lagoon. Ride lasts about 20 minutes and is approx. 600-750 ft. long. Fixtures include underwater exhibits, special lifting crane for servicing the subs, passenger loading dock, and concession building.
