Made by Thomson Entertainment. Sold new for $225,000. The Venturer V14 capsule simulator can be operated either indoors or outside on a site of 40 square meters (430 sq. ft.). Total weight with passengers is approx. 4400 kg (9702 lb.). The simulator can be bolted directly to a specified concrete foundation, or to a portable base frame. With a typical ride cycle of five minutes, the V14 can take up to 170 paying customers per hour. The capsule motion is carefully controlled so that the intensity of the movement can be scaled to suit the desires and stamina of customers. Automatic shut-down buttons are located both on the control console and inside the capsule. In the event of a power failure, the simulator will return automatically to the level position.
