This is the only game at the fair where you do not have to spend overhead for toys. You simply charge money for some balls to throw. The customers then throw the balls at the targets trying to knock BoBo in the water thus giving the balls right back to you. The best thing about a dunk is that YOU DON"T GIVE ANY STOCK AWAY! All the money coming in is pure profit.
You may recognize this dunk tank from the 1981 movie Carny, staring Jodie Foster and Gary Busey. MGM rented this exact dunk tank for $3,000 back in 1980 and built a replica for use in the Motion Picture.
The Dunk Tank has 2 fully adjustable sensitivity paddles on each side. When the paddles are struck with a ball, the seat automatically falls and BoBo falls into the tank. The 400 gallon, 5 foot deep tank has a quick drainage valve for a fast tear down. The BoBo cage has a door in the rear for a quick entry and exit. The cage also includes a safety bar for BoBo to safely fall straight down into the tank of water when spilled. The best part about this setup is that there is an automated ball return. This ball return uses a 3/4 horsepower electrical motor. The balls fall onto the canvas then are quickly whisked back to the front operator.
Dimensions: 12 Foot Wide X 28 Foot Deep The Dunk Tank completely tears down in about an hour and fits into a supplied 14 foot trailer. (See Picture). The Frame of the ammusement is made entirely of Steel for durability
